Story of 531  July 8, 2008 -

The first time that I personally experienced the number 531 was my address when I was about 10 all through high school.

It wasn't until I was on my own that I started to notice the number 531 everywhere I went. While driving, I would look off to a license plate and see 531. Also while driving I would take a look at a mailbox or house and notice the address was 531.

I traveled locally and nationally quite a bit through my life and the number would show up everywhere.

A restaurant bill would have the waiters id number, 531. I would by something at a store it would come to 531. For 20 years, 531 was everywhere I looked.

After getting married, I told my wife about the number and boom, it was on her. But now the number 7 entered the equation and the numbers would be mixed up more then not...again license plates, mailbox address, restaurant address, time of day, you name it would come up in any sequence of 5317.

I just looked at my birth certificate the other day as I was cleaning and my wife and I about fell over when we noticed I was born at address 1357.

Order confirmation numbers, airline ticket numbers, everything. My employee ID for 10 years was 53117. My phone number was once given to me at 1135. My 12 year old son has started telling me his stories of the number 531 without me ever pointing it out to him.

I get mad because I don't know what it means, but it seems to show up when things are good or when I feel I am doing something right.

Crazy, but I am not 42 years old and this has been going on since the address that I was born at 42 years ago.

This number only appears when I or a family member is NOT looking for it, but the odds are just crazy. Driving home just yesterday the license in front of me was 5317 directly in order....the odds are crazy that I am on the road at the same time that someone else from another part of Michigan is in front of me.....

I have searched biblical references, internet sites, planets, moons, stars and asked many family members....no luck.

Today I put something on Ebay, the first person to bid was lee 135...

42 years of the same combination of numbers.....I don't know what it means so I say that it represents my family tree...there are me, my wife and three kids...that's 5.   We have 3 boys and the 1 female in the house making 531.
